Curriculum

Tomorrow’s HOPE Preschool uses the Essential Preschool Curriculum. Copies of the curriculum are available in the Director’s office upon request. This curriculum addresses the following skills from a Christ-centered perspective:

Language skills: necessary for early reading, writing, listening concepts, phonemic awareness, practice identifying and forming letters, words and numbers.

Science skills: observing, comparing, classifying, measuring, discussion, reporting and predicting.

Social Studies: geography, history, map reading, cultural awareness, and social studies concepts.

Math skills: Understanding numbers, ordering, ordinality, correspondence, counting, shapes, sorting, patterning, grouping, and addition and subtraction concepts.

In addition we us the popular Handwriting with out Tears Curriculum. This is a wonderful program which helps lay the correct foundation for writing at a young age; from forming letters with clay to properly writing our letters. For more information on this program click here.
